Apple: nice products, arsey attitude

Here’s a good example of why I’m unlikely to join the ranks of Apple fanboys, despite my love of Apple products: Apple ships virus-infected iPods, and instead of saying “shite, sorry” takes a dig at Microsoft.

As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses, and even more upset with ourselves for not catching it.

Think different? Think playground, more like.

I think my Apple rocks but I’ve never, ever liked Apple themselves. It annoys me how Apple and Apple fanboys are so bloody self-righteous when Apple are as evil a company as any other – especially when comparing to Microsoft. I’m not complaining that my mac came with dvd playing and burning software, media players and so on but using that as a reason why macs are better than PCs when the only reason they aren’t bundled with Windows is a court ruling. I’m still pissed off that I can’t play some itunes tracks on my mobile for no good reason and they ipod g3 battery thing was a disgrace.

As I said to Gary the other day – I know that it is “Mack Oh-ess ten” but it really annoys fanboys to call it “Mack Oss-ex” so I’ll continue. ;-D

  2. Reminds me of Ikea: good products from crap shop.
