  2. I’m not sure why it’s seen as unfair – surely in these days of european integration, free market etc firms should be free to operate from anywhere in the EU they fancy? It’s nowhere near as sneaky as the “card handling fee” scam, after all.

  3. Yeah, I think we all saw what the EU meant by “removing” trade barriers when they banned duty free shopping.
