Sperm theft

Love in the 21st Century: Boy meets girl. Boy gets jiggy with girl. Girl “steals” boy’s sperm. Girl uses said sperm to impregnate herself. Girl sues boy for maintenance. Boy sues girl for fraud and emotional distress.

“She asserts that when plaintiff ‘delivered’ his sperm, it was a gift — an absolute and irrevocable transfer of title to property from a donor to a donee,” the decision said. “There was no agreement that the original deposit would be returned upon request.”

Always good to know which legal precedent has been set for the next time one is in such a situ. Isn’t that what happened to Bors Becker?
    Also…. Ewwwww!

I have to admit, I hadn’t followed the becker story – the word “sport” immediately sendszzzzzzz

    Sorry, where was I?

[I have a pet theory that sooner or later I will be responsible for more bad and predictable jokes than anyone else on earth, and through some unforeseeable and unlikely process that accolade will make me rich. Fingers crossed]

Yeah, the Becker thing sounds like something from a John Le Carre novel. We live in a very strange world.

Wasn’t there a British case like this a while back? The woman picked up the discarded condom after sex and used the contents to impregnate herself. The cuort ruled that the man had to pay maintenance, and that, bizarrely, he hadn’t taken enough measures to prevent conception.

She must have been bloody quick to incubate the sperm or inpregnate herself. Semen only lasts for so long once it reacts with air. Talking matter of minutes if that. Very odd!
