Vertical videos are bad

I wrote a wee piece in MacFormat about the scourge of videos shot in portrait mode, and Glen Mulcahy let me know about this superb public service announcement.

When I’ve got my writing hat on I write magazine features, tutorials, columns and buying guides; when I’m doing commercial copywriting I craft compelling copy for micro-businesses and multinationals for products ranging from spirits to speakers. I’ve written thirteen books, ghostwritten two more and co-wrote another seven, and I also co-wrote a Radio 2 documentary series. I love radio, and you’ll often hear me mouthing off on BBC Radio Scotland.

I make music in a band called HAVR, and you can stream or download our records from your favourite music store.
