Parent? iPad owner? Here’s a free app

I’m really taken by children’s book apps, and you can get an award-winning one for free: the Jack and the Beanstalk iPad/iPhone app is available here. I haven’t tried this one yet, but it looks like fun.

My name’s Carrie, and I live in Glasgow. I’m a writer, a broadcaster, a podcaster and a musician.

When I’ve got my writing hat on I write magazine features, tutorials, columns and buying guides; when I’m doing commercial copywriting I craft compelling copy for micro-businesses and multinationals for products ranging from spirits to speakers. I’ve written thirteen books, ghostwritten two more and co-wrote another seven, and I also co-wrote a Radio 2 documentary series. I love radio, and you’ll often hear me mouthing off on BBC Radio Scotland.

I make music in a band called HAVR, and you can stream or download our records from your favourite music store.
