An open letter to the local paper

Dear Journos

There’s no such place as “the Westend”. It’s the West end. Similarly, there’s no such thing as a “railstation”. It’s a railway station.

Love and kisses

Gary

(This has been bugging me for months)

Do they hyphenate “set up” when it’s a verb? That’s my pet hate.

I wasn’t caring about capitalisation. That’s an entirely separate problem :)

Not sure if they hyphenate it, but I suspect they probably do.
