Anyway, do they allow you to take three to five days to decide whether their bill’s reasonable, then three to five days to decide whether to pay it, then three to five days to write the cheque, then three to five days to give them the cheque?

Have a look at the apple refurb store. They had a current spec 17-inch job for £1350 earlier today, compared to £1850 for a brand new one. Similar savings on the smaller models too.

I can’t decide what to get to replace my aging Dell. I’m seriously considering a Powerbook although the price is a little offputting.
