Part 1: Thoughts on listening to music with Atomic Floyd’s SuperDarts
Shit, I’ve just wasted the best part of £200 in Amazon vouchers. They sound okay, but you don’t spend that much money for something to be okay.
Part 2: Thoughts on listening to music with Atomic Floyd’s SuperDarts after turning the volume right up
HOLY FUCK!
Yes, they’re stupidly expensive, but the sound is really quite extraordinary. They were recommended by my Techradar colleague James Rivington, who reviewed them here. I think he quite liked them.

I hope they last longer than a pair for a tenner :D
That’s the scary thing, I’m paranoid about losing them now.
Lost ‘em yet and just too scared to tell us? :D
Heh. Not yet :)
Realised last night I hadn’t tried Talk Talk on them. Sounded amazing.
Right – you must have at least mislaid them once or twice by now… :)
I haven’t, but I’ve found a problem with them: since moving to the iPhone 5, they’re too quiet. The new iPhone is significantly quieter than its predecessors, by about one-fifth :(
If only you were using the Apple-approved version they’d be fine…
You’re right. Apple’s new earbuds are noticeably louder than the old ones. Still shite sound compared to the superdarts though. Looks like I have the choice of volume or sound quality, but not both.
Or you need to look out for the new shiny version of the ones you have with a higher sensitivity per watt… then you can tell us all you just bought another pair of £200 headphones… recession? what recession? :)
Pffft, if it weren’t for amazon vouchers I wouldn’t have the current set. My next £200′s going on council tax :)
