Site spit and polish
I’ve made a few tweaks to the weblog design - nothing too serious, but I’ve gone for slightly different fonts to make the text more readable. I’ve tested it in Safari and Firefox and everything seems okay, but if users of other browsers spot any problems could you let me know please? Thanks.

Speaking if pics, how did you get that tiny one of yourself to show in the location indicator of the browser? Way cool.
It’s a wee trick called favicon: you create a tiny wee image and store it in your site’s home folder, and that’s it. There’s a web site that can automatically create ‘em for you, but I forget where it is.
The black outlines around the posts are occasionally dodgy on IE for XP, I’m afraid. I’d describe the problem, but I’m sure you have IE and XP, and looking would be much quicker.
Hmmm, sounds like the legendary “IE doesn’t quite support CSS” problem. Either that or the legendary “Gary’s a really sloppy coder” problem :-)
I’ll check it out when I get the chance. Thank you…

Have you doctored that photo to make it look like you live in a warm sunny country and spend more than two hours each year out of doors?
