Better living through technology

Although the press tends to concentrate on big stuff, for most people technology’s at its best when it helps in little ways - such as this example from today’s Glasgow Herald diary:

A Glasgow office worker with a mobile phone that takes pictures told her workmates: “Just in case the boss didn’t believe my excuse for being late because of the snow in the driveway blocking the car, I took a picture of it and sent it to him.”

Oh, great:

Slacker (not me, of course): “Sorry, I won’t be in today, I’ve got flu.”
Big boss: “No problem, send me a photo of your suffering and I’ll forward it to HR.”

Could benefit a cottage industry of Photoshoppers, though.

Hahah, the photoshop idea is brilliant - “sorry boss, can’t come in today - I’ve got cows!” :-D
