Mucking about

I’m trying to find a better way to present the worryingly large amount of content on this here blog, so I’m experimenting with various WordPress themes. Apologies in advance if I break the entire website.

This one looks great but the best one I’ve seen recently is by Quommunication: http://quommunication.com/demo/news/

Might even be the best Wordpress theme evah!

But that one costs money! I think it’s a wee bit too complex for this site, too.

I reckon if someone were to craft an attractive header graphic for this theme, it would be pretty damn good. If only I knew of someone who could do that…

Yeah, I was looking at that with a view to revamping the itm? blog.

:-)

Just saw your email. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

I like this one.

Not happening with any of the other comments, though.

Out of interest, what happens if some bastard

uses the blockquote tag

inside a comment?

Ah. Bigger, darker inverted commas.

Can I just say, by the way, that I was very disappointed to discover that that Quommunication page wasn’t the latest news from Status Quo.

Whilst this is quite nice - In a ‘my I’ve just stepped into a branch of waterstones’ kind of way - I must say the huge quote things are horrible - unpleasant to look at and frankly distracting. I’m finding it a lot harder to read the sitte because of them. Dark or not.

Oh, I quite like them. But I will be doing some tweaking, so for example I don’t like the layout of the “recent comments” section. So I may bugger about with it.

Tony, that template would be great for ITM? I reckon.
