I look forward to the day when artists/groups do direct marketing thro' either their own labels or by iTunes affiliation. At least that way there is a reasonable chance of a decent reward for their music. The old guard are dead in the water but kept afloat by PR misinformation and downright deviousness. The main media pundits act like whores to promote the music companies whilst bashing any efforts to act with more friendliness to joe public. Absolutely right.
